A2 - or Adeia II - is a 56ft 2013 Lagoon crewed catamaran available for charter in the Caribbean. This yacht sets new benchmarks in sophistication, elegance, luxury, and performance.
From a morning of fun on a secluded beach, to an exhilarating day sailing on open water, to an elegant dinner aboard, A2 offers it all.
Even at her maximum carrying capacity of eight guests, plus two crew, the catamaran is roomy enough for all her guests to come together for a sumptuous evening meal or to find privacy in smaller groups - either forward on the deck seating area, in the spacious cockpit, in the bright and open salon, or up on the flybridge with the pilot.
The four spacious guest cabins (3 with queen-sized beds, and one with single-sized bunk beds) come with en-suite heads and showers, fans, and private A/ C controls and light and air from the outside through uniquely designed, and strategically placed, hatches, windows, and portholes.
Designed with rich honey-colored wood tones throughout and featuring clean modern lines and unstintingly elegant appointments, A2 is a catamaran of unparalleled comfort and refinement.

Jaco & Jenny
Jaco and Jenny met on Tortola in the BVIs in 2011 and have been crewing together aboard beautiful luxury sailing catamarans as a Captain and 1st Mate / Chef team ever since.
In addition to chartering in the British Virgin Islands, they have also chartered in other Caribbean Islands including Saint Martin, Anguilla, Saint Bart's, Saint Kitts & Nevis, Turks & Caicos and the Bahamas. Jaco and Jenny agree that the waters of the British Virgin Islands are their favorite area to host wonderful sailing vacation. The distance between the islands allow for very comfortable and enjoyable day sails, with plenty of snorkeling, hiking and beach bars along the way.
Jaco and Jenny are an experienced and energetic professional crew who combine their sense of adventure into an unforgettable experience for A2's charter guests.
Jaco grew up in South Africa's wine country, Stellenbosch. He moved to Cape Town to pursue his love for the ocean, sailing in the shadow of the famous Table Mountain, where from 18 - 22 years of age, he worked aboard a day sail charter catamaran. Jaco then began delivering newly launched catamarans to exotic destinations such as Baja, Tortola, Croatia, Mallorca, and the island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. He has over 85,000 nautical miles of ocean crossings to add to his credit. His career took him to a position as 1st Mate, aboard a 100 foot Sailing Yacht cruising around Germany, Denmark and Holland, and the entire Mediterranean Sea during the summer of 2010. Eventually, Jaco left Italy bound for the British Virgin Islands. Very keen on watersports activities, he enjoys wakeboarding, surfing, sailing, snorkeling, and of course the latest craze, paddle boarding. Anything to do with the ocean. ..read more
Jenny grew up sailing on Sydney Harbour, Australia, competitively racing Lasers for 9 years, before moving onto Moths and other fast sailing dinghies. At the age of 15 Jenny saved up and bought her own keel boat, a 19ft Endeavour and took friends out on regular sailing adventures exploring Sydney Harbour. At 20, Jenny's dreams began to gravitate towards working on the water, including a 55 foot racing yacht in the Whitsundays on the Great Barrier Reef, taking guests from all over the world swimming with Whale Sharks on the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia and embracing the opportunity to join a 120ft Tall Ship which focuses on Youth Development.
At college, Jenny perused a course in Hospitality and this carried her into cooking onboard charter yachts. She enjoys using fresh local produce and is always playing around with new dishes. Jenny is passionate about cooking healthy food, embracing the delicious natural flavors local produce has to offer.
Enjoying sailing, diving, swimming, snorkeling, hiking, wake skating, paddle boarding, Jenny is eager to join the guests on their adventures whenever possible. Charter guests will find Jenny is a joy to be on charter with, as you will see she absolutely loves what she does. Her vibrant personality and delicious dishes are inspiring and guests will love her amazing smile.

Jenny and Jaco were the best crew that we've ever had. They were beyond accommodating, paying close attention to everyone's preferences regarding everything from the day's planned activities to each meal's preparation. Without gushing, I'll just say that they exceeded our expectations in every way.
A2 was very clean and nothing was ever out of place. My favorite aspect was the fly bridge, it had shade for those of us people with fair skin and an ample seating area for us all to be together.
Jenny food was beautifully presented and delicious. She paid close attention to everyone's food preferences, sometimes serving three different entrees to accommodate everyone. She did it graciously, never acting like it was an inconvenience to her. She prepared every dish perfectly, especially the duck. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked. She even surprised us with flavor combinations that we had never had before, which is hard to do considering that we own a restaurant. Her food was better than anything that we could get in any restaurant in the BVIs.
They made sure that everyone's wants and needs were met. Some of us wanted to swim, others wanted to snorkel, others wanted to do water sports, and others wanted to get off the boat and visit bars or play bocce. They made sure that everyone was happy and got to do the activities that they wanted.
Jenny is the best chef we've had on 8 charter cat trips. Jaco and Jenny would definitely be our preference for crew on future charters.

Thanks again, you picked a perfect charter for us. This was our second charter with you and A2. I have always appreciated that you recommended the A2 for my family. I initially wanted a larger boat that would have been more expensive and not necessary.
The crew were great. Jenny does a great job with the food and always wants to know how she is doing.
Everything was very good and your informational offerings were very helpful.
Lance L, aboard Catamaran A2 sailing the British Virgin Islands
The crew were great, very attentive and made great suggestions for things to do. The service was amazing. Both Jaco and Jenny are a great team and work well together. They were there for us the entire trip.
We were very happy with Sailing Directions' support.
Don W, aboard Catamaran A2 sailing the British Virgin Islands
Crew was perfect! A2 is as good as it gets. We took pictures of every dinner!
John G, aboard Catamaran A2 sailing the British Virgin Islands
We laughed that it couldn't get much better...WRONG! It did, everyday, such that we are all suffering from severe separation anxiety since our return.LOL🌴
Jenny and Jaco not only met every expectation, they exceeded them! What a couple of lovely and hardworking gems, right? Fantastic week...
Per J Buffet...🎶Lets sip champagne and break into smiles...🎶🎶🎶 THANKS FOR THAT!
We had a tremendous time. For brevity, I will refer to Jenny and Jaco as "the crew", but they were so much more.
As you would expect the crew attended to our every need and wish. The food was amazing and made to order (make sure Jenny makes sliders). The boat is spotless. The berths, heads, and shower areas are well laid out and spacious.
The crew were what made our trip so special. They wanted to make sure we enjoyed every aspect of the trip. They told us where we were going, what we were seeing along the way and the background on what were doing. They took us to great snorkeling spots and Jenny was a good guide.
Can't speak highly enough about the A2 experience!
Our family would love to experience another A2 charter if you would be opened to going to other islands, such as St Lucia or St Martin.
Thank you once again to Jaco and Jenny, for a seamless vacation.
All the Cullinans
The Moyer's Family
They gave rest to the weary
While staying quite cheery
They were patient with the kids,
Despite all they did
Coin the sailor and
Lily the wailer
They taught us so much
About turtles and tarpon and starfish and such
They made us feel safe
When Lily was in distress
Cause her strap was a mess
Leon saved her
Without a moment of stress
He dove for moms glasses
That were lost in the grasses
Leon and Michelle
We thank you for everything
You showed us that life
With hard work and kind words
Will lead one to see the beauty life brings
The owners are coming
The work never ends
But were glad we had this chance to spend time and be friends.
There once was a captain named Leon
Whose boat we all went out to sea on
He showed us the sights
Like the Baths and the Bight
And we sailed for more than an eon
There once was a chef named Michelle
Who cooked like a bat out of hell
Her meals were delicious
Here menus auspicious
And she kept us all happy and well
There once was a boat named Adeia
Such a beauty she couldnt have been sweeta
She had lots of toys
That gave us great joy
And we hoped that we never would leave her
