Dawn & George
Dawn Marie was born with a natural love for the outdoors. Being raised along the Rio Grande in the enchanted state of New Mexico is a blessing she will always be thankful for. Exploring, rock climbing, wakeboarding, hiking, dirt biking, backpacking, and scuba diving were a few of her favorite past times. Always seeking to indulge in as many exciting sports and hobbies she could get her hands on, has shaped her into the adventure seeker you will meet today. The Caribbean has become her backyard and she can't seem to get enough. Her knowledge of all the best spots around the U.S. and British Virgin Islands lays the foundation for a carefree and magical vacation experience you won't forget.
George grew up in Coastal Southeast Texas, where he developed a love of saltwater and seafood. Arriving in the Virgin Islands following a trip to South America's wine country, George found an opportunity to stoke the fires of his passion for both the ocean and fine cuisine at a local sushi bar. He is a diverse chef that can now call sushi one of his trades.
Holding an undergraduate degree in economics and experience on Wall Street, you will find his interests as sundry as his cooking. Sharing the endless possibilities of the Caribbean and fine cuisine aboard Castellina II, George's imagination is brought to life.
Fun and safety are my two main priorities. From the moment you step aboard, to the time we say our goodbyes; guests always see me doing everything in my power to ensure that both are actively met at their highest potential!

From pick up at the airport with seamless transfer to boat and easy first evening sail to, and overnight anchorage at Water Island to our final night at dock in West End/Soper's Hole we received nonstop royal treatment -- wonderful freshly prepared and vaired breakfast, lunch and nightly dinners supplemented with variety of beers, wines and premium liquors and specialty island drinks.
In addition to two nights at USVI stops, we motor sailed or sailed to several stops in the BVI -- including Indians/Norman Island, Peter Island, Bitter End (with dinghy trip to Saba Rock and nearby conch gathering for later tasty soup of charcoal roasted conch and fresh fish caught on sail to Anegada. After a half-day car visit to exquisite northside Anegada beaches, Loblolly and Cow Wreck, we were treatedto a "moon lit night sail" to Jost Van Dyke for overnight and day visit. Finally, Captain Dawn arranged fast ferry from our dockside terminus at West End with taxi pick up at Charlotte Amalie for airport transfer to provide seamless closure to our wonderful week with our new "best friends".
