Matt has worked in every environment from fine dining to food trucks. Growing up in Florida, he spent as much time in the water as he did on land, either surfing, wake boarding, fishing ,scuba diving or doing any other activity that involved getting wet!. So when Matt landed in the Virgin Islands, it was no wonder that he felt right at home!
Matt immediately developed a passion for sailing and decided right away to combine his love of food with his love of the ocean, and began the next chapter in his life as a charter boat chef. Matt has also been an avid scuba diver for the last ten years and is currently a PADI Certified Dive Instructor. So when hes not in the galley cooking lobster, hes underwater looking for them!
Matt has spent the last two years exploring the reefs of both the U.S. and British Virgin Islands and knows his way around the best dive spots. He is also a certified Captain and holds a USCG 100 ton Masters license..read more

Jim and sherry were wonderful! They made the trip! We all felt very comfortable with them, very friendly and laid back. Could not have asked for anything better.
Nadiya was perfect. Very clean and decorated nicely. Ventilation was not a problem, perfect sea breezes through our hatch.
The food was amazing! Every meal and snack and dessert was very tasty with great presentation.
Every day and everywhere they took us just got better and better as the week went on!
Sailing Directions was very attentive and timely with emails and responses. I wish I could go again!
