Sailing Yacht Nomad Iv Overview

The world renowned naval architects Finot-Conq have an enviable reputation in the sailing world. Among their previous racing builds are IMOCA 60s and the Pogo series and their latest creation is the 100ft cruiser NOMAD IV. NOMAD IV is easily adaptable and she can be both an impressive racing yacht or a comfortable cruising yacht for charter.Her mast is 47m the water and she has 9 ton water ballast tanks each side, a short cord performance lifting keel, twin rudders and full carbon construction. Inside NOMAD IV there is spacious and modern accommodation for 12 guests with four crew. The 30.48m yacht was built by the Maxi Dolphin shipyard in Italy.

Previous yachts: Sailed various small catamarans as part of his role as a water-sports coach for several different clubs, schools and training centres.

Sail and work experience: Clearly demonstrated by his vast experience as a trainer for various clubs,

Pierre-Antoine is a true water-sports enthusiast. His most recent post at the Diablo Fun Watersports

School in Olron saw him adopt a managerial role, involving the organisation of catamarans, sand

yachting and bodyboarding, as well as administrative tasks and marketing practices. He has also

worked at the Club Mditerrane El Gouna in Egypt, where he led coaching sessions for funboarding and sailing, conducted theory lessons and was also responsible for repairs, demonstrating his sound technical knowledge. He has developed a clear comprehension of customer relations which he has combined with his passion for sailing and water-sports.

Job description: Pierre-Antoine holds the ability to stand in for the Captain in his absence, acting as

second in command. Assists the Captain in navigation and participates in deck operations, respecting

the guests activities. Possesses extensive maintenance knowledge and is responsible for the running

and maintenance of deck equipment and all machinery. Seeks out, identifies and solves technical..read more

problems before they escalate. Responsible for the organisation, management and cleanliness of all

interior areas on board. Maintains an accurate inventory of all service items and supplies. Ensures cleaning and preparation of the vessel to the highest standards prior to any and all guests trips. In charge of provisioning the vessel for both guests and crew in all aspects of daily life. When guests are on board, he ensures that they are properly cared for and that all requirements are met. Offers a particular attention to details and a polite and entertaining spirit.

Sail and work experience:

Jean-Baptise has an extremely wide ranging CV demonstrating the numerous yachts on board which he worked as a chef and first mate. His knowledge of the sea, of charters and life on board luxury yachts is invaluable to any client. He has also participated in several regattas as a professional sailor, such as in Les Voiles de St Tropez and the Monaco and Cannes regatta.

Job description: He is responsible for the guests and crew meals nutrition, assuring a rich variety of food. He estimates food needs, reviews inventory to assure that adequate supplies are available, adhering to budget and to the guests expectations. He carries out food service activities in order to have meals prepared at scheduled times, packaging and freezing samples of all served food to comply with health regulations. He is in charge of the galley. Thanks to his creativity, he prepares new recipes and products in order to satisfy different guests requests.
