Evidence of comfort: The boat is designed to accommodate 12 guests in brightly lit and air-conditioned staterooms. Each are attractively lined with pale sycamore wood.

All have spacious en suite shower rooms with a separate head compartment.

The 50 sqft-floor space gives the option of either double or twin single beds and also comfortably leaves sufficient room for a convertible desk/dressing table.

Comfortable and more intimate, with cushioned seating and sunbathing mattresses, a prime setting to catch a glimpse of Islands ahead!

Access to the water and tender is particularly easy, using the folding stairway.

Guests have a choice of three dining areas. Our spacious cockpit pleasantly shaded by the overhang of the deckhouse; the more intimate lounge for the cooler evenings or the aft teak deck where one can enjoy the warm breeze and dine under the starlight.

Captain Yves? entire working life has been on the sea. From mate on a coastal fishing boat to race crew, captain of sea going tugs and cable laying vessels, Yves has acquired a wealth of experience.

His background in chartering is equally broad: seven years as captain with VPM Antilles and Privil?ge Croisi?res on catamarans and monohulls ranging from 50 to 80 feet.

Yves served as alternate captain on Douce France last year.

Fabrice Rapenne: Diving Instructor, 31 years old, French. Fabrice serves as a permanent crewmember of Douce France and as its private diving instructor. Fabrice has been on Douce France for three years and he looks forward to many more opportunities to offer guests the possibility to discover the underwater beauty of the Caribbean Sea.

Whenever possible, conditions and locale permitting, he delights in diving to catch fresh lobster and fish for serving aboard. Fabrice can dive to a depth of 165 feet - without a tank!

Fredric Jourdan studied hotel keeping and French cuisine for more than four years in Nantes. Since the age of 21, Frederic has worked in some of the most prestigious "4-Star" restaurants in France - "La Dolce Vita" in Corsica; "Ch?teau Layauga" in Bordeaux; "Byblos des Neiges" in Courchevel; and "Ch?teau de Mercu?s" in Cahors.

Frederic presided as Head Chef at Courchevel's, "H?tel des 3 Vall?es," before deciding to join the crew aboard Douce France. Frederic skillfully tailors his creative menus to his guests' needs and tastes; his meals offer the spectrum from traditional French cuisine to tropical or light cooking.
