Barry grew up in a coastal town in Massachusetts, getting involved in dinghy racing and quickly graduated onto yacht racing. As a professional mariner he has served aboard various vessels including a 141ft custom Italian luxury yacht, a vintage Americas Cup 12m racing yacht, an ocean going tug boat in the Bearing Sea and a 65ft sport fishing power catamaran.
He has sailed in various places around the world including Australia, New Zealand, East and West coast of America and Alaska. He took a small sojourn from his first love, sailing, to spend time in the mountains of Colorado as a professional skier. Barry loves to travel and immerse himself in local cultures. He is a thorough and patient instructor who holds an ASA bareboat charter instructor rating.
Elizabeth, your personal chef, has extensive gourmet cooking and catering experience. She owned her own catering business in Ontario, Canada before heading to the warm waters of the Caribbean. In her European-style galley she produces artistic creations that taste as good as they look and she is happy to cater to guest's specific tastes.
Elizabeth has been sailing most of her life plying the cooler waters of Lake Ontario. She is easy going with a fun-loving sense of humor.
Barry and Elizabeth enjoy finding out-of-the-way coves and anchorages where the beauty of the Caribbean can be experienced as it was when it was first discovered. They are proud and excited to invite you on board Entrepreneurship, the 2007 Cruising Catamaran of the year.
