Mark started sailing when he was 8 years old. The excitement of competitive sailing took hold from an early age and over the years Mark went on to become provincial champion for Lasers and Dabchicks. His big break came when he represented South Africa at the Laser Worlds. Mark worked at Quantum Sails in Australia concentrating on design and technology for his Olympic Games campaign.
Mark has sailed across several oceans and has been a part of many offshore races. His chartering grounds have included the islands off Mozambique in the Indian Ocean, the Caribbean and the Bahamas.
In his relaxed and competent way, Mark commands Panache to ensure you a fun filled, exciting, yet safe vacation aboard.
Mark has an MCA Yachtmaster Ocean ticket and with his great sense of humor, acute sailing abilities and award winning cocktails, you will immediately feel at ease with Mark in command.
Tracy is the chef aboard Panache. Tracey has been sailing competitively since 1997 and finds herself totally at home on Panache.
She spent almost a year attending the prestigious Nick's School of Cooking in South Africa and her talents show through in her wonderful combinations, presentation and the use of the freshest produce. She will delight the most discerning palate with her culinary flair.
Panache also features a stewardess, Nicci and a deck hand, Shenton. Together the crew make a fantastic team and will ensure you the vacation of a lifetime aboard Panache.
