Andy gained his sailing experience where he grew up in England whilst Kristin (or KC, as her friends know her) coming from Florida gained her passion for the sea in the Islands. They met by chance and decided to go and travel the world together for two years. They shared many adventures together and now wish to share more with you as your crew.
They both truly enjoy sailing and the sea and are passionate about sharing it with others. As crew of Stenella they really go out of their way to make sure all their guests have a great time. Combined they make a great team on Stenella.
Andy & Kristin have been providing an excellent service aboard Stenella in the British Virgin Islands now for a number of seasons. Andy has worked hard making Stenella the finest yacht available in the BVI - Stenella was awarded 'Best Monohull' during 2005's BVI Charter Yacht Show.
Andy's knowledge of the islands, their anchorages, hikes, snorkel and dive spots and his ability to make sailing fun will guarantee you a great time. KC has been creating fine culinary experiences for all who have stepped aboard. KC also won the coveted New England Culinary Award during the Tortola Charter Yacht Boat show for Best Entrees
Your Captain
Andrew Woodruff, originally from England, has been involved in sailing all his life. Andy's experience comes from years of sailing and extensive yacht racing. The height of his racing career was sailing with the GBR Challenge Team for the Americas Cup.
Andy has a RYA/MCA Commercial Yachtmaster license. He ensures the highest competence and safety to guests and maintains Stenella to the highest standards and safety requirements. Andy is a PADI certified Divemaster and qualified with a BSC in Maritime Leisure Management.
Your First Mate & Chef
Kristin Clements is from the southeast United States. Born in Savannah, GA, and growing up on the coast of Florida, KC offers a charm of southern hospitality that will make you feel right at home on Stenella.
Being PADI certified Divemaster and an avid diver since the 80's she has logged over 1000 dives in Florida, the Caribbean and Bahamas alone, not to mention other areas of the world. She has a passion for the world's endangered sea turtle.
KC has always enjoyed cooking and entertaining. When traveling the world she took extensive culinary courses where she picked up some great Stenella recipes. Her menu offers anything from down home cookin', to Caribbean flavors with a worldly flare.
For fun, she took a bartending course where she learned the art of making GREAT cocktails! Hey, it's always cocktail hour somewhere in the world...
Now she enjoys a life aboard Stenella entertaining guests, making great cocktails and providing fine meals.
