Captain Richard Russ is originally from Jacksonville, Florida. Captain Rick has sailed internationally for 19 years, operating every type of vessel from Super Tankers to sail boats.
Mate Missy spent a great deal of her life along the Cape Fear coast and loves to cook, entertain and write about their travels. They moved to St Thomas nearly four years ago, bringing their flair for southern hospitality with them to pursue their passion for year-round boating and the beauty of the Caribbean.
They have four children stateside and enjoy visiting friends and family when time permits. Both look forward to sharing their knowledge and experiences with you, your family and friends and filling your sailing adventure with wonderful memories.

Rick and Missy were phenomenal! We couldn't have asked for more delightful people. Not only were they extremely confident about the area and the ship (we felt very safe - in good hands), they were incredibly nice to be around. We enjoyed every minute with them!
Catatonic is a nice ship, she was good to us. All the meals were excellent! They are both excellent cooks.
We especially were grateful to have Rick at the helm, and be able to get over to Anegada! It was a real treat!
