As a private, commercial and charter yacht captain for over 20 years, Virginia has logged over 397,000 nautical miles of ocean sailing and brings a wealth of experience to Matau.
With a previous background in the hospitality industry, her attention to detail brings a strong sense of dedication and commitment to the yachting industry, which is reflected in the level of service provided to owners and guests. Virginia has a warmhearted style and takes great pride and enjoyment in her profession.
Chef: Patrick Labrosse
Born in Nice (France) in 1984. His father and Grandfather were caterers, and Patrick grew up within a dynamic kitchen environment. It was the foundation for Patrick's interest and enthusiasm for his delicious Mediterranean style of cooking French and Italian cuisine.
Apart from Patrick's culinary skills and knowledge of wine, he has spent a lot of time during his youth sailing, therefore it became a logical and natural step for him to follow through into the yachting industry.
Stewardess: Yuliya Miroshnyk
Yuliya specializes in high quality guest service with a warm and gracious demeanor. She has finished courses in silver service and came into the industry in 2002.
Her hospitality experience includes work on many yachts and has traveled throughout Mediterranean, Caribbean, Antarctica and Indian Ocean including Maldives and Seychelles. Yuliya has also completed four Atlantic crossings.
Mate: Jamie Stark
A native of the USVI, Jamie became a U.S. National ranked competitive swimmer and natural free-diver with a deep appreciation for the aquatic world. He has been in the yachting industry since 1997 and is able to ensure guests needs, comforts and the true enjoyment of the surrounding waters.
