Starfire was complete refitted in 2004 with a variety of classic art and sculpture, new cabin accoutrements and state-of-the-art entertainment systems throughout. As you navigate the ship's decks and explore its refined interiors, you may feel you've entered the world of the 1920's and 30's, when the elegant Art Deco style enjoyed its heyday, but you will know you are still in the here-and-now when you need to use the Internet, decide to go jet-skiing or retire to your cabin to listen to your favorite CD's.

Guests should be prepared to slumber in the ultimate luxury aboard Starfire. No expense was spared in the design of the master and guest suites, all of which are resplendently and tastefully outfitted with fine Italian linens, goose down pillows and cozy comforters.

The VIP Cabin on the upper deck features a king-size bed, an exceptional entertainment center, a full marble bath and magnificent views from sunup to sundown. The four staterooms below open from a lower deck lobby and provide additional guest accommodations with two queen and two twin staterooms. Each twin stateroom offers expanded accommodation with Pullman bed feature.

All four staterooms have steam showers, state-of-the-art entertainment centers and very large port lights that afford ample sunlight and excellent views. The décor features velvet-covered headboards, decorative pillows in a variety of exquisite fabrics, and marble-topped bedside tables of cherry and lace woods.

Captain Carl was the individual winner as 'Best Captain of a Mega Yacht in 2001' at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show. This accolade was given for his ability to be a 'can do' positive leader.

StarFire's Captain takes special pride in imparting his knowledge and love of the sea. Captain Carl's motto for yachting is that 'there are no problems only solutions' and he governs himself accordingly.

Chef, Wim Goethals (Belgian, Age 31) comes to us from Belgium. He has been a professional Chef for eight years, four of which have been spent in the yachting industry. Since taking his culinary skills to sea, Wim has worked on a variety of high-profile yachts, both private and charter.

Wim relishes in creating culinary masterpieces for the most discerning of palates, using what is available to him locally. His yachting career has allowed him the opportunity to study the local cuisine of many international destinations, including France, Italy, Thailand, India, and the Seychelles.

Some of his specialties include French gastronomical cuisine, Asian cuisine, vegetarian and vegan dishes, Japanese cuisine, ice creams, and sorbets.
