Luc (44) has been sailing since age 20 and is a very experienced charter captain. Luc has made numerous passages from the USA East Coasts to Brazil, including the entire Caribbean, and from Panama to Australia.
His first position was as deckhand on the Windsong, a 60' Ketch, when each summer he explored every cove from New England to Long Island, and each winter he discovered the exotic secrets of the Bahamas & the Virgin Islands. He then worked aboard the Lady Jane (a Hinckley yacht) belonging to a private American owner. In 1992 he bought the 43ft Wallaby in New York and set sail for Brazil, then a Pacific Ocean cruise which included the Galapagos Islands, Marquises, Tahiti, Tonga, Cook, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and finally Australia!
Luc enjoys taking time to fully experience the places he travels. 1992 in Antigua, he sailed the Garuda (a Little Harbor) and then he founded with partners the French-Argentina restaurant Le Cap Horn. In 1997 in Brisbane he opened the French restaurant Le Salt & Pepper.
Luc's spontaneity and strong sense of active curiosity will be a major asset for your cruise.
Frédérique (42) has lived for many years in the Indian Ocean. The sea has always been a part of her personal and professional surroundings. After various professional activities in the tourism & service fields, she set sail in 2000 with Luc for the Bahamas. Together they worked for 3 years aboard Wallaby.
On board, she is always looking to find a perfect harmony for every one & fulfill everyone's desires. Taking care of the comfort of her guests is among her major goals.
The last two years, Luc and Frederique ran the Privilege 585 Tahuata in the Caribbean. Now, they move to the new Privilege 615 Motu. Luc & Frédérique both love to entertain guests and cook. They can provide a culinary voyage of discovery, from healthy to traditional cuisine, with local spices and flavorful natural products. You will be touched and delighted by this charming & active crew whose joy, energy and enthusiasm are readily apparent.
