 Motu Yacht Overview:

Motu is a Privilege 615 sailing catamaran launched by Alliaura Marine in 2006. This luxury catamaran is the latest addition to the Privilege range; a true example of the next generation of charter yachts.

Motu features a light and stylish interior, four spacious ensuite guest cabins, a roomy and elegant saloon and a covered cockpit area. The catamaran also features trampolines forward and a flybridge which provides a second steering station and an excellent sunbathing and lounging area.

Motu is a beautifully appointed luxury charter catamaran which is ideally suited to cruse the full length of the Caribbean. Motu is based from Martinique but is able to meet you anywhere from the British Virgin Islands to the Grenadines; including the Leeward Islands from St Martin or Antigua.

The yacht's interior is fully air-conditioned and finished in contemporary colors including light beech wood and beige leather couches. The galley is spacious and fully equipped to allow your personal chef to prepare culinary delights which can be enjoyed in air conditioned comfort, or al fresco on the aft deck.

Guest accommodation features king and queen sized bertha and large private ensuites, each with a luxurious 'spa' shower with multiple shower heads.

For guests who prefer the outdoors, the foredeck and trampolines create fantastic large sunbathing and relaxation areas. Motu is equipped with a full range of water toys including water skis, towable toys, snorkeling and fishing equipment.

Enjoyment of these water sport facilities is easy with dual access to the water. The dual aft swimming platforms make ideal points for boarding the boat, swimming or just dangling your legs into the turquoise waters of your mooring.

Bathed in sun and swept by gentle trade winds, the Caribbean islands are a true paradise. From the Virgin Islands to Grenada, the cruising areas offer a pleasant contrast of ever-changing scenery. Your unique cruise - tailor-made to your desires by your crew - will enable you to discover and enjoy these treasures.

Leave the stress of city life behind and experience the Caribbean in style and comfort aboard Motu. Your capable and professional crew will take care of every detail to ensure you have the vacation of a lifetime!

About the crew aboard Yacht Motu
Your Crew:   Luc & Frédérique
Description:

Luc (44) has been sailing since age 20 and is a very experienced charter captain. Luc has made numerous passages from the USA East Coasts to Brazil, including the entire Caribbean, and from Panama to Australia.

His first position was as deckhand on the Windsong, a 60' Ketch, when each summer he explored every cove from New England to Long Island, and each winter he discovered the exotic secrets of the Bahamas & the Virgin Islands. He then worked aboard the Lady Jane (a Hinckley yacht) belonging to a private American owner. In 1992 he bought the 43ft Wallaby in New York and set sail for Brazil, then a Pacific Ocean cruise which included the Galapagos Islands, Marquises, Tahiti, Tonga, Cook, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and finally Australia!

Luc enjoys taking time to fully experience the places he travels. 1992 in Antigua, he sailed the Garuda (a Little Harbor) and then he founded with partners the French-Argentina restaurant Le Cap Horn. In 1997 in Brisbane he opened the French restaurant Le Salt & Pepper.

Luc's spontaneity and strong sense of active curiosity will be a major asset for your cruise.

Frédérique (42) has lived for many years in the Indian Ocean. The sea has always been a part of her personal and professional surroundings. After various professional activities in the tourism & service fields, she set sail in 2000 with Luc for the Bahamas. Together they worked for 3 years aboard Wallaby.

On board, she is always looking to find a perfect harmony for every one & fulfill everyone's desires. Taking care of the comfort of her guests is among her major goals.

The last two years, Luc and Frederique ran the Privilege 585 Tahuata in the Caribbean. Now, they move to the new Privilege 615 Motu. Luc & Frédérique both love to entertain guests and cook. They can provide a culinary voyage of discovery, from healthy to traditional cuisine, with local spices and flavorful natural products. You will be touched and delighted by this charming & active crew whose joy, energy and enthusiasm are readily apparent.
