 Ma Ha Yacht Overview:

Ma Ha, a Lagoon 570 launched in 2008, features four guest en suite cabins with electric heads and independent air-conditioning controls. Each cabin, finished in teak, is sumptuous in both quantity and quality.

Sunny days, blue oceans, blue skies, summer haze; the Lagoon 570 is an all-weather catamaran. A fast inshore and offshore cruiser, the Lagoon 570 is well suited for leisure, charter and long-distance voyages.

Replacing a legend was difficult, and after 8,000 hours of research the new Lagoon 570 has been launched with more sail area, more interior volume, better solar protection and better performance, all the while preserving the best qualities of its predecessor: Extraordinary balance between the cockpit and the salon, panoramic visibility from both the interior and exterior, precise cabinetry finish-work, and the lack of concessions solely in the name of style.

Whether it is in terms of pure performance on the water or the level of comfort, the Lagoon 570 is a high quality yacht with a wealth of assets. The 570's distinguishing trait is that its cabin top is lined with Lagoon's signature vertical windows. This design touch provides maximum visibility from the main saloon, while relieving some of the heat from the midday sun. Good nonskid on the cabin top is a welcome feature when the main is coming down.

Come join your friendly crew, George and Hannah, on this stunning catamaran sailing out of Nanny Cay Tortola - cruising, wining and dining the beautiful British Virgin Islands in style!

About the crew aboard Yacht Ma Ha
Your Crew:   George & Hannah
Description:

George and Hannah Cahusac, your Captain and Chef aboard Ma Ha, are an infectiously enthusiastic and fun couple whose wealth of experience will ensure your sailing vacation will be unforgettable. They are a young, newly wed couple who take great pride in creating your perfect vacation - be it a thrill-seeking, action-packed whirlwind adventure or gliding serene and peaceful around all the beautiful bays and beaches the Caribbean has to offer.

George started sailing and kayaking on the river Thames as a child. Aged 17 he left and set off on a life long adventure, which has seen him sail every ocean and some of the most beautiful and remote corners of the globe. Starting by teaching water sports on beaches around the Mediterranean he gained broad knowledge within the industry. He then moved on to yachts and worked on deliveries and grafted on the day work circuit before getting qualified as a captain. Since then he has worked on everything from hand crafted mahogany motor cruisers to some of the fastest racing yachts in the world. His appetite for adventure and love for his work has seen him as a dive master on the Great Barrier Reef, cowboy in the Australian outback, ski instructor in the Alps, pearl diving in Tahiti and sailing all over the world. After meeting Hannah he has experienced an epiphany unwanted by most hedonistic sailors! First came love, then came marriage and then the desire to nest and find a place to call home. And they spent the next years in the BVI doing just that.

Hannah grew up on a smallholding in rural South England with a love of cooking with the seasons using the freshest produce. After finishing school she worked as a chef in the village pub to save enough money to go traveling. Visiting New Zealand, Fuji, Singapore and India she began to expand her culinary knowledge and skill, persuading people to relinquish secret family recipes along the way! George and she arrived in New Zealand on the same day - met at the airport and spent every moment of the next three months together! They returned to England and Hannah worked at the Yacht Catering Company providing food for the sailing elite of the UK racing world. She then moved onto the water as chef on a 92ft 1961 wooden powerboat on the south coast of England before moving to the BVI where she has chartered with George for 2 years. She then decided to take her skills to the next level so moved back to London where she was accepted to do a Diploma in Food and Wine at the prestigious Leiths School. While studying she worked at the River Cafe in west London and after completing the course worked at the 3 Michelin starred Fat Duck, which has been awarded the World's Best Restaurant. George and Hannah married in October 2008.
