Our week aboard your boat was wonderful! We no have so many great memories. The food all week was terrific and Pixie was great at making food for the more picky eaters." Jose was filled with knowledge about all the islands and knew the best places to go for our family. Jose always kept the kids busy with snorkeling, skiing and tubing but the parents had as much fun as the kids. The Margaritas were epic and every morning we awoke from our deep slumber to the smell of a delicious breakfast. According to our kids if anyone did a trip like this on any other boat with any other crew they would just be insane! - Bowman Family
Thank you both for a fabulous 40th Birthday celebration charter! We all had a super great time. The snorkeling was incredible and all of the different places yall showed us were perfect. Pixle always kept us fed with delicious and creative recipes. As a foodie I especially appreciated that. This was an AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, ONCE IN A LIFETIME vacation and worth every penny! You two are wonderful hosts and I will always remember the week we spent together with great fondness. - The Jacksonville Girls Charter

Thank you so much for all you did for us this trip. The food was the best! Ive never felt more safe and welcomed...EVER! We wish you guys all the best and hope we can be friends in the real world. There is no other crew I would have wanted to be a part of this than you guys. Thank you for taking us under your wing and then letting us fly! Than you for opening our eyes and giving us a whole new perspective on life. This truly has been a life changing event.
We really appreciated how knowledgeable you are in explaining the history of the various sites and also when you admitted not knowing the answers to some or our questions. Jose you provided a steady even ride even when there were swells.
Pixie you have endless energy, Thank you for the delicious meals compelling us to eat more than usual. Five meals a day: fruit, breakfast, lunch, appetizers (enough for a meal) and dinner. Every thing was yummy and remarkable considering the one oven.
Other highlights included great snorkeling. You took us to the best spots - we saw turtles, rays squid, tarpon, barracuda and loads of beautiful Caribbean fish. Thank you for always bringing our toys to us, the standup paddle boards were a hit. You found a dancing spot for Al and we all enjoyed that and the quiet coves for peaceful evenings. Thank you for expertly timing our passages so that we hit the sites before the crowds arrived.
All in all it was a fabulous journey. Thanks to the two of you! ~Lynn and Frank
Then there was the food: plentiful and delicious and hard to resist! Pixie is a great cook. The best fish tacos on the planet, subtly flavored mouth watering parmesan onion biscuits and Pixies special peanut butter pie are just a few examples of the countless great dishes we enjoyed for our four meals each day. If you want to lose weight a week on this boat is not the way to do it!
We always felt comfortable, and we loved being pampered and appreciated having a captain who quietly kept us safe. Your willingness to accommodate our every desire and your continuous level of high service made our trip special. It was remarkable how you could magically appear to satisfy our every whim yet completely vanish when we wanted to be alone on a craft about the size of a garage. I could go on and on but the simple fact is we had a wonderful week and the two of you played a huge part in making that happen. Thank you for a such a special week.~Al and Anne
We so appreciated all you did for us throughout the week .We couldn't have lucked out on a better Captain + Chef .You 2 are amazing people and a tremendous Team ! It was a pleasure getting to know you both and we look forward to sailing with you again in the future, Frederick + Kathryn
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

Jose & Pixie were AWESOME. The menu exceeded our expectations. Pixie was amazing. Very happy with service from Sailing Directions.
Robert W, aboard Catamaran Hypnautic sailing the Virgin Islands
I have literally made life-long friends. Jose and Janet were extremely friendly and fit in very well with our group. We loved spending time with them. Both were very attentive and seemed to know exactly what we needed at any particular time. I very much enjoyed staying up late and talking with Cap'n Jose about various topics. Everything we wanted was provided. Jose and Pixie offered us very good suggestions as we made our way around the islands.
Hypnautic was very well maintained. It was amazing to me how clean Jose and Pixie were able to keep the yacht with the six of us constantly moving about, snacking, drinking, lounging, etc. I was very impressed by this. I think my favorite aspect was our mealtime and all of us sitting around the outside table. Lots of great conversation. I also very much enjoyed being up on the bridge with Cap'n. I loved the wind in the face and the amazing views.
Pixie is an amazing chef. I could tell that heart and soul was put into each dish. I enjoyed talking to Pixie about how she came up with some of the dishes and how she likes to take time to think of and practice making new dishes. I can't wait for more Pixie meals!
The Virgin Islands couldn't have been better. It was exactly what we wanted. The only thing I wish I had different was MORE TIME!
This trip was well worth every single penny. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves to disconnect from the real world and just relax and be stress free for a week. Great re-charge of the internal batteries that are required to operate in life.
Aaron H, aboard Catamaran Hypnautic sailing the Virgin Islands
Jose and Janet were definitely friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and accommodating. They went above and beyond my expectations. They were always asking if we needed anything, and were happy to respond to any questions or requests that we had. I couldn't imagine a better pair, and I look forward to sailing with them again!
The Hypnatuic was clean, comfortable, and well ventilated. Jose and Janet were up and about cleaning the boat every day. My favorite aspect of the yacht was definitely the dining area, where we spent time at least three times a day haha. Many wonderful conversations were had, and we loved getting a chance to watch Janet cook through the window! I also loved the bedding, super comfy, and plenty of storage space.
The food was no words short of AMAZING. Janet was such a great cook and always ran on time. The dining area was always clean, accessible, and well presented. Janet did a great job of creating a menu of items that suited our needs and fit our requests. There was always enough! And a great variety :)
We saw so much in what seemed like such little time, it was great! We hit all of the spots on our list within reason without feeling rushed. Every day was new and exciting, just as we requested.
This was a life changing experience. To stay a week on a boat may seem intimidating to some, especially myself who had never slept aboard a boat before. It was completely worth it, I can't imagine seeing the islands in any other way. Definitely pack your Dramamine if you experience a little sea sickness like I do! But it was completely manageable and did not take away from the experience.
Our group will certainly be requesting to sail with Hypnautic again.
Aaron H, aboard Catamaran Hypnautic sailing the Virgin Islands
The crew were outstanding, over and beyond the call of duty to make sure all our desires were met.
Hypnautic is very clean, not only when we arrived but they were cleaning daily to keep everything attractive.
The trip was fabulous. Leo and Amy are great hosts. Everything was perfect.
