2017 Lagoon 520 Ventana offers charter guests four large double berths each with private en-suite bathrooms including electric heads, vanity and separate showers. A fifth cabin is available offering upper and lower berths and this cabin also has a private en-suite bath with electric head, vanity and separate shower.
Throughout the yacht offers wonderful natural lighting and great ventilation plus fully air-conditioning set to guests desires. The salon will seat up to 8 guests in comfort for lounging or dining.
Ventana's exterior offers alfresco dining for up to 8 guests, top deck seating and lounge area in front of helm plus forward lower deck lounge area behind trampolines.
With numerous lounging areas, there is plenty of space for gathering as a group or finding a private place for one or two to relax.

Dawn Marie was born with a natural love for the outdoors. Having been raised along the Rio Grande in the enchanted state of New Mexico is a blessing she will always be thankful for. Exploring, rock climbing, wake-boarding, hiking, backpacking, and even scuba diving are a few of her favorite pastimes. She always seeks to indulge in as many exciting sports and hobbies she can get her hands on which has shaped her into the adventure seeker you will meet today. The Caribbean has become her backyard and she can’t seem to get enough. Her knowledge of all the best spots around the U.S. and British Virgin Islands lays the foundation for a carefree and magical vacation experience you won’t forget.
Dawn Marie offers an intimate connection with her guests that extends beyond just being a Captain – she is fully responsible for creating a culinary experience from breakfast to appetizers to cocktails. She is an excellent cook and relies on the skills of her sous chef to deliver a tantalizing culinary experience for all guests, completely customized to everyone’s dietary preferences. Sous Chef/Mate Reilly:
Reilly is committed to making sure people feel welcome, comfortable, entertained, and well cared for. He has a talent for predicting the guest’s needs, and will be prepared with your next cocktail before you’ve even finished your first.
He was raised in North Carolina, and his interest in the outdoors has brought him adventures throughout the United States. He is an avid hiker and enjoyed the challenge of hiking the Pacific Crest Trail from California to Oregon, and has big plans to hike the Appalachian trail during the off season.
Having grown up boating on lake Lanier and Lake Norman Reilly developed a true love for the water and boats. He started cooking at the age of 3 and continued his passion for cooking at his mother’s side throughout his childhood. Reilly always talks about how they would go to a restaurant together and his mother tasted something then go home and recreate it… it usually turned out even better.
While in college he continued his boating experience on the East Coast of the United States while forming an extensive background in hospitality management and guest services with a special focus on fine dining cuisine. Now, Reilly’s passion for boating and fine cuisine makes him the perfect fit for his role as first mate. His background as a sous chef pairs excellently with Dawn Marie’s role as lead chef, and he truly enjoys trying a new recipe or mixing a new drink. If you are wine drinkers, you can rely on Reilly to make sure your meal is paired with the perfect glass.
1st Mate Damon:
Damon grew up in Colorado where his parents ran a B&B at a ski resort. At 7 years old, he started helping serve the guests breakfast before heading off to school. He naturally had a knack for customer service and a thirst for adventure. Through high school and college he spent his spare time in the mountains and on the slopes. Damon considered himself a professional ski bum at this point, and he loved every bit of it.
Half-way through college, he wanted a change. He sold his skis and transferred to the University of Hawaii, where he learned to do things like surf, kite board, and spearfish.
After graduating, Damon started traveling. After spending time in China teaching surfing; time in the Philippines teaching Kite boarding,; and season in Australia as a ski instructor (yes there is snow down under), he felt it was time to go home for a while.
His adventures didn’t stop there.....
While on board, feel free to ask Damon about the year he spent camping and surfing during his road trip from California to Costa Rica.
Damon loves meeting new people and swapping stories. He is easy going and can adjust to every person's specific needs. He can be your tour guide, water sports instructor, and your bartender. He will be mixing your favorite cocktail, serving your meals, and assuring that your level of comfort and fun are always met at their maximum potential.

I could write a book on the week we spent aboard Castellina II. By far Captain Dawn Marie is an amazing person, woman and captain. My wife and I both feel like we have known her for years.
The Castellina II was beautiful inside and out. Captain Dawn Marie and Chef Reilly were a fantastic team. It was the perfect romantic getaway. Their attention to detail and ability to read our minds were surreal. They were taking care of our needs before we could even ask. They took us to all the normal sights one would expect. However, Captain Dawn Marie knew of secluded sights that allowed us to be by ourselves. We could not have asked for anything better.
Castellina II is a fantastic sailing catamaran. Very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning kept us cool throughout the day and especially at night. The front seating area was very inviting and we spent a lot of our evening enjoying either a glass of wine or cocktail with snacks just watching the sunset or just gazing up at the full moon.
It is hard for me to describe the food we enjoyed aboard the Castellina II. Five star all the way. From the eggs benedict with hollandaise sauce, lobster and steak dinner, or the meal they prepared and packed up for us along with wine to enjoy in a secluded location to celebrate our anniversary were all unbelievable. Each and every dish they prepared was exactly what my wife and I enjoy eating. The menu could not have been more customized than that.
In the end, it's just as every review has stated: "A trip of a lifetime".
