Sanya 57 sailing catamaran Aoibh (pronounced Eve from old Irish) was launched in 2014 and accommodates up to 8 passengers in 4 en-suite guest cabins. Aoibh has a professional crew of 3 with separate accommodations. The master stateroom is on the port side, with a queen size walk around bed. A VIP cabin is forward on the port side, with a queen size bed. On the starboard side is one VIP cabin forward and one VIP cabin aft, each with queen size beds. All 4 guest cabins are fully air conditioned and offer a serene atmosphere, ample natural light and spacious ambiance.
The yacht salon offers a settee, convertible coffee to formal dining table and full entertainment systems on the port side. The well-equipped galley is on the starboard side in an open plan. With wrap around windows and direct access to the cockpit via sliding glass doors, crewed charter yacht Aoibh‘s salon has natural light and spectacular views. The yacht is fully air conditioned throughout.
Step out form the salon to the shaded aft deck, ideal for socializing and relaxing. Here guests may dine alfresco, enjoy ample seating, soak up the warm sun on the double sun pad aft, and sip cool cocktails from the complete wet bar. On port and starboard are two sugar scoop transoms, great for water access and a leisurely dip or be more active and make the most of the assortment of water toys on offer. Wide side decks lead to the foredeck, where 2 large trampolines await the sun lovers and 2 pulpit dolphin seats, entice the thrill seekers underway. An upper flybridge deck offers a separate helm area and a sun pad.

Anastasios, better known as Tasos, was born in the land of myth and sailing history, the beautiful Greek Islands.
His professional career as a Captain had a humble start aboard a Lagoon 38 sailing his native waters. Over the next few years he developed his sailing skills and experience by embarking on cruising courses in the Western Mediterranean, European and Atlantic waters, eventually completing a transatlantic crossing.
With many thousands of sea miles under his belt, Tasos joined the Moorings in the BVI for the winter season of 2014 and a brief sojourn in Europe to explore Croatia during the summer of 2014.
Delighted to be doing what he loves for both summer and winter, Tasos soon became a popular captain for The Moorings in the BVI while also keeping busy in the Mediterranean waters during the Summer months.
Tasos is not only an experienced yacht captain, he is also proficient in many other water sports: stand-up paddle boarding, wake boarding and snorkeling being just a few.
Tasos is also a polyglot and is fluent and/or very comfortable speaking Greek, Portuguese, Spanish and English, which should make the majority of his guests feel at home.

<strong>Chef/Hostess: Nella Gutesa</strong>
Nella has been in the marine industry almost her whole working life, starting with hostess and concierge duties at an upmarket island marina in Croatia for a couple of summer seasons.
Nella's cooking career began as the chef/stewardess on a Lagoon 38 chartering in the Aegean. It was during this period that she learned all the other skills necessary for a crew member on a yacht at sea.
Expanding her cooking repertoire and improving her skills as a mariner became paramount for Nella as she upgraded to a much larger Lagoon 56. Cruising the Bay of Biscay, the Spanish and Portuguese Atlantic coastlines, the Mediterranean Sea and Balearic Islands and eventually the warmer waters of the Caribbean.
Nella had a change of pace when she was hired as the Sous Chef onboard a 115 ft Benetti motor yacht. During this time she cruised the Adriatic Sea, the Dalmatian Coast, Italy and Greece. Of course her duties not only required her culinary skills, but along with the galley work she was stewardess, inventory manager, and deckhand, handling the lines and driving the tender.
Most recently, Nella has been the chef on board a Robertson & Caine 58 with her partner Captain Tasos and one other crew member, working for The Moorings in the BVI.
Nella is a motivated and approachable professional who is fulfilling her dreams of a life at sea filled with fun and adventure.
<strong>Nathan Fourie - First mate</strong>
Nathan is from South Africa. He is passionate about the charter industry, sailing and ensuring his guests enjoy a most memorable time aboard. He believes a professional crew should have both a strong work ethic and excellent team membership skills. In addition to his first-rate guest services and mate duties, Nathan is more than happy to assist throughout the yacht; whether it is the galley or cabin detail, he has an enthusiastic and outgoing personality. In his free time, Nathan makes the most of being active, staying fit and progressing further qualifications.

The reason we didnt move much is because the wind and the location were awesome for kiting. We kited every day. When we were not kiting we went snorkeling, swimming and tubing. All in all, we had a great time. The crew was great. Great personality fit with our family. They were professional, yet casual and approachable. The food was great. Vicky is a very good cook who takes her craft very seriously and with great pride. I would recommend the Aoibh and the crew to a friend - that is probably the best thing I can say.

Sardinia and the nearby archipelago was just stunning. Weather and water temperaturesperfect. We travel a lot and are fortunate to have done some amazing trips. All wholeheartedly agreed that this experience was tied for first place on our list of favorite trips. We will certainly look to book again with this crew and boat (or LIR). The water life in the Caribbean is more vibrant than in the Med-so we may look at that locale. We consider ourselves so lucky to have found this boat, crew and locale in what was the 11th hour.
