Sailing Yacht Aurelius Overview

Aurelius, a Bestevaer 76S Sloop, is a swift and elegant classical cruiser. Her fine hull design is the ideal merge between speed and pleasant motion under way. Her shallow draft gains her access to many anchorages and small ports which are normally not accessible to yachts of her size.

Aurelius features a bimini that stays on whilst sailing and covers most of the cockpit. She also has a large sun awning that goes over the boom from the mast. Her spacious clean deck with four sun mattresses plus several deck cushions are ideal for lounging or bathing in the sun.

Aurelius' elegant interior joinery, upholstery and fittings are of a very high standard. She accommodates up to 4 adults and 2 children. The master walk around King Stateroom is located up forward and has en-suite facilities. The second queen stateroom and the twin cabin are located aft, both cabins share facilities but have en-suite washbasins.

At the age of 22, Stefano decided to add to his list of passions and took up sailing. He acquired sailing skills by working on his boat as well as other peoples boats in the Mediterranean. In 2005, Stefano combined his passion for sailing and cooking by being both a chef and a deckhand on various yachts in the Mediterranean. To the broker:

We had a wonderful week.
You need have no reservations whatsoever in recommending Ken, Giselle and Aurelius. Neither of them could have been nicer, more enthusiastic to please and to respond to our wishes in every respect. Ken is extremely competent as a captain and Giselle's cooking is quite simply remarkable, even judged against onshore top notch restaurant food.

Wishing you a Happy New Year and thanks for putting this all together.

Best wishes,
Maurice

Dear Ken and Gisele,

Wow! From one blissful anchorage, and from one Michelin-starred lunch and dinner to the next, this trip just got better and better!
Aurelius is such a beautiful boat but we lucked out most of all with the best skipper and chef in the Caribbean- you've spoiled us rotten and looked after us so beautifully.
Highlights have been:
Sailing downwind
Turtles at Tobago Cays
Duck with port reduction
Stargazing lessons
Frog legs and tuna sashimi, foie gras (and all the food)

Thank you so much for everything and hope we see you again very soon.
Lots of love"

"Kens great skipper skills as he bounds around the boat like an Olympian. You both earn a gold medal for your constant good humour!"

" We have chartered (as you know) many times. This has simply been the best: the best boat, the best chef/food."

Dear Giselle and Captain Ken,

I just wanted to thank you both for making our first time on a yacht such a fabulous one,

Gary and I had the most wonderful time. With Ken on the helm we both felt very confident and at ease even in quite big seas, and as for Giselle's excellent cooking, it was amazing, I have never seen Gary so willing to try different food.

It was lovely to return home to see the family, but I often think of you on the yacht and can't wait to follow Ken on his voyage (across the Atlantic to the Med),

Keep well and Thank You once again
