Starship's major refit in 2004 and continued upgrades, have her showing like new. She sleeps ten guests in 5 staterooms each with en-suite bath. There are also an additional 2 day heads for guest use. She is decorated throughout with rich mahogany wood, elegant marble finishes, fine art and elegant soft goods.
The side entrance welcomes guests into an impressive main foyer. The main salon is arranged with a full bar, two sitting areas, one area with a semi circular settee facing the 52" flat screen TV and entertainment system, the next area with inviting sofa and oversized chairs, and the most aft to port set with a game table. The private formal dining is forward with a round table which comfortably seats 10. The fine china, detailed cabinetry and superb view forward provide an intimate and memorable dining experience.
The skylounge area is a great alternative for intimate cocktails and entertaining, or simply to escape to a quieter place for a bit of work at the desk or relaxation in the cozy sofa or chairs. The Master suite is located amidship on the lower deck and features a California King size bed, full seating area with sofa and chairs, large walk-in closets with dressing area and elegant en-suite marble accented bathroom with steam shower.
There are four additional staterooms aft of the Master including a Queen VIP with pullman and sofa bed, two mirrored guest staterooms set with King sized beds and a Twin guest stateroom to starboard. Each stateroom is ensuite with head and shower and fully equipped with flat screen TV, DVD and CD.
Aft of the skylounge is a large square al fresco dining table for 12 guests serviced by a full bar to starboard. Up one level to the flybridge deck, guests can enjoy the jacuzzi, plenty of comfortable sunning areas and seating, wet bar and surround sound music.

Captain- Steve Feldman, 45, from Long Island New York
Captain Steve has been a resident of Florida for 20 years. He has been an avid boater for most of his life, his passion in his Go Fast boat spending many weekends with other boaters in central Florida. Captain Steve has been with StarShip since 2003 and has been working with the owner since 1997. Steve ensures that any charter or event will run smoothly from start to finish.
Engineer- Phill Hart, 33, from Torquay UK
Phill has been on the water all his life starting with his families boats from a young age. He has been engineering since the age of 16, and has been a marine engineer for the last 8 years, Phill has a passion for traveling so after a few years out of the yachting industry and leaving his job in the UK as marine engineer on smaller boats he decided to come back to the yachting world and joined starship the beginning of 2013.
Chef: Damien Gonzalez
Chef Damien grew up in the Northwest of the United States, Seattle, Washington. As a child he would go to work with his father, who was a produce manager for a local food market and would spend the day learning how to pick out the best fruits and vegetables. That same local food market would later give him his first job in the food industry.
In 2006 Chef Damien began his culinary adventure at the well known establishment, Pink Door Gourmet Italian Restaurant. Chef Damien quickly began to learn and grow within the industry. In 2010 he began to work for the Iron Chef and James Beard award winner Tom Douglas where he started in, his very well known flagship establishment Ettas Seafood Restaurant. ..read more
In 2012 his culinary adventure took him to the Caribbean where he began his luxury mega-yacht service experience and has continued to work on luxury mega-yachts ever since. Chef Damien believes in preparing fresh food from scratch for his guests and specializes in Mediterranean cuisine.
Chief Stewardess- Amy Elliot,
Amy started her career in the hospitality industry working for a five star hotels, which were apart of Africas leading hotel group. She transitioned into the yachting world, and joined StarShip at the beginning of 2014. Guest satisfaction is her main goal, and she will stop at nothing to ensure that guests have the most memorable experience. Amy loves to meet new people and see new places in her spare time.
Stewardess: Lauren Coleman
Lauren was raised in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. She was a cheerleader at the University of North Carolina and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Education., Lauren has traveled alone to South East Asia. She saw children eat live tarantulas in Cambodia, she was stung by the Box Jellyfish in Malaysia, visited local hill tribes in Burma, she volunteered in India, and taught Kindergarten in Thailand. Her transformation from first time traveler to expert backpacker is complete.
While living in Thailand, she met many young adults in the yachting industry. After researching this amazing profession, it didnt take her long to realize this was the perfect career for her. Lauren is eager to learn as much as she can about the industry and is excited to provide guests with a truly memorable experience.
First Officer: Conrad Pool
Conrad was born in Cape Town, South Africa. He has been living in the United States for the past 16 years, and has been involved in the yachting industry for the past 12 years.
Conrad started his career as a Deckhand. He currently holds his 200TON License, as well as his OOW. He has been a First Officer for a number of years, and takes great pride in the presentation and functioning of the decks, as well as ensuring
Conrad loves to watch cricket, and when he is not working, he loves to surf.
Deckhand: Anthony De Beer
After leaving High School, Anthony joined Flight Training School where he acquired his Commercial Pilot License. He flew thousands of hours, before he was Pilot in Command, and has since completed1500 hours doing so.
He joined the yachting industry two and a half years ago, with the intention of learning more about the Helicopters on board. His goal is to convert his Commercial License to a Helicopter License, in order to fly helicopters onboard Mega Yachts.
Anthony is a great fisherman, and loves to teach guests how to fish. He also loves to play rugby in his spare time, and supports the Blue Bulls from his Hometown, Pretoria, in South Africa.
Deckhand: Alex Bosch
Alex was born in New York, and grew up in Namibia. At 21, he decided to move back to the United States. This is his first time away from home, but adapted very well to life here after he discovered yachting.
Alex has his Skippers license, allowing him to drive smaller tenders, and he is eagerly awaiting for the sea time that will allow him to take his Yacht masters.
