What you can expect from a BVI Crewed Yacht Charter vacation

What to expect from a BVI Crewed Yacht Charter

Once you book your crewed yacht charter vacation you will receive a preference sheet in which your group can outline your menu, bar and activity preferences. If you have strong likes or dislikes this is where you can communicate to your crew so that they may provision the yacht to match your group’s tastes.

At around one week prior to your charter your crew will reach out to you by phone and / or email to introduce themselves and answer any questions that you still may have at this point. This is a good chance to discuss a general itinerary and plan the actual meet-up at the marina.

Your charter will begin at 12 noon and end on the last day at 12 noon, so you’ll have full 24 hour days aboard the yacht. Once you arrive at the marina you’ll be met by the crew who will help you aboard and settle you into your guest cabins. Most yacht's cabins have double or larger beds, private en-suite bathrooms with toilet, shower and vanity, storage for clothes and towels etc and air conditioning. Snacks or lunch will be served and cold drinks will be on hand as you cruise out of the marina and set sail into the Caribbean waters!

Each day you’ll make a couple of stops along the way to your overnight destination giving you a chance to visit a number of bays to swim, snorkel, explore ashore or use the water sports equipment. Each night you’ll be anchored in a different bay beneath the breathtaking Caribbean stars.

Throughout the day the chef will be preparing customized meals and snacks for your party. You can dine al-fresco in the cockpit, overhead on the fly-bridge or inside in the saloon. Cold drinks are always on hand with an open bar.

A crewed yacht charter is a great way to vacation completely stress-free as the crew are there to handle the yacht and make all preparations – you can just sit back and relax; or get involved in the sailing if you choose. It is also an excellent way to re-connect with friends and family and share quality time together.
