Catamaran Avalon Overview

You'll enter a special world when you step aboard Avalon, ready to cruise the beautiful British Virgin Islands. Avalon is the perfect charter yacht; a 2010 launched Lagoon 620 - Lagoon's flagship model. A classic catamaran, spacious and comfortable, she's equally at home cruising before the gentle Caribbean trade winds or sailing like a racer if you are ever in a hurry.

The catamaran features five air conditioned Queen size double cabins, each with its own private shower and bathroom, a spacious saloon and galley, a comfortable shaded cockpit and a large fly bridge helm station with additional seating and sun bathing - the flybridge offers a dramatic 360 degree view and is a great place to be while under sail.

Avalon is fully equipped with modern amenities including a Bose music system with iPod hookup, LCD DVD and is fully air conditioned.

From the moment your Captain and Chef welcome you aboard they will take care of your every need and ensure you enjoy a sailing holiday that will be a memory for life.

Reviews for Avalon with Alex & Carla:

We're in-flight on our way home wishing we were still on the Avalon. We had such an incredible time! Alex, Carla and Molly were the best hosts ever and the Avalon was luxurious. We never saw a better craft on the water. Thanks for getting us on that boat!

We had a lovely trip! The crew was great, very accommodating and professional. Carla's cooking was off the charts. Every meal was fabulous! We had asked for healthy food and we got it served to us in a fresh and unique way.

The boat was lovely. Everything felt fresh and clean and it was a very comfortable size for our family of 6.

The itinerary was great. We had lots of options for activities such as snorkeling and paddle boarding, or we could just relax on the beach or boat. I am sure we will do a similar trip again!

Ashley B, aboard Catamaran Avalon sailing the British Virgin Islands

Avalon is a very spacious, new feeling catamaran that has more lounging space than any other I've experienced in the BVI's - in the salon, upstairs and even the 4 large, comfy beanbag chairs out front. We were extremely impressed and plan to return to Avalon in the future!

Alex & Carla absolutely optimize the type of top quality, 5-star service that my wife and I have come to expect after 10+ BVI CAT trips! Alex is an experienced, knowledgeable Captain who knows the BVI's like the back of his hand. He took us to some of the most scenic snorkeling destinations, and also knew about all the cool bars, restaurants & musical entertainment along the way (and he makes a great Painkiller).

Carla is a sincere, service oriented chef who prepared some absolutely incredible meals (loved the daily homemade bread), while paying close attention to the (many) food preferences expressed beforehand by our group.

Your crew's sole aim is to use their intimate knowledge of the BVI to ensure you enjoy your holiday to the full. They know all the exciting places for swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving, as well as the most beautiful bays and inlets to anchor during the day and quietly at night. They will provide first class hospitality throughout your time aboard including gourmet meals and a range of cocktails and cold beverages from the bar.

The Virgin Islands are more sheltered from the open ocean than other Caribbean areas, they are close to each other and there are numerous quiet and calm anchorages. You rarely need to sail for more than two or three hours to get from one place to the next. There are dozens of quiet anchorages to enjoy, many excellent spots for diving and snorkeling, a variety of shore excursions are possible and you can always find something interesting going on in the evening, if you wish to.
