Twenty-five years of work experience, 150,000 nautical miles logged, a highly attuned sense of seamanship – meet Ian McIntosh, the proud Captain of DIANA. His versatile maritime career, lavishly flagged with professional achievements in a variety of positions, has made him impressively knowledgeable and reliable, the kind of Captain any guest would love to stay on a yacht with.
Over the years, Ian has worked with guests of multiple nationalities, always treating the with utmost attention, discretion and a unique combination of grace, intelligence and good humour. He is also an avid PADI certified Dive Master, with over 2,000 dives logged, eager to organize dive trips upon guests’ request. His extensive knowledge of cruising waters around the Mediterranean, Australia and New Zealand, South America and the Caribbean will ensure a five-star sailing gateway on board DIANA.
1st Mate: Thomas McKinnell
Experienced and enthusiastic, Tom has been involved in sailing and motor boating from a very young age and prior to starting on super yachts, worked professionally in Southampton skippering, sailing, racing, instructing and maintaining boats. On his previous boat he covered over 35000 NM including 4 Atlantic crossings, a trip to Arctic Circle/Norway, the British Isles, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Central America and a Transpacific. Apart from sailing, Tom loves diving, skiing, wake boarding, cycling and American football. Stewardess: Gemma Harris
Gemma’s love of the water combined with her hospitality and background in the service industry landed her into yachting four years ago. Efficient and organised crewmember, Gemma has gained a lot of experience in managing the yacht interior to a high standard. In addition, she has a particular interest in cooking and is open to trying out different recipes, preferring healthy, seasonal and local menus. Her attention to details and amazing hospitality skills ensure a professional service at all times for the guests to have a relaxing and carefree journey onboard.
