The trip was awesome. Lindsey and Magnus were an excellent crew. The itinerary was perfect.
Hypnautic was in excellent shape and has great AC. The best part of the yacht is the honeymoon cabin that uses one whole wing of the catamaran.
The food was awesome. Lindsey is an outstanding chef. By far the best we have eaten on any vacation.
The reason we booked through Sailing Direction is John responded to our request almost immediately. We did not hear from the other charter company we contacted first. The booking process was smooth and the website has all the key information.

The trip was amazing, great times. Best family vacation ever.
Captain Magnus was fantastic with my kids, great personality and never stopped helping us find new places to explore. Chef Lindsey is awesome. World class chef in world class locations on a boat with only my family! It just doesn't get better.
Hypnautic was very clean, very comfortable and great atmosphere for a boat. I'd sail around the world on this boat if I could.
Lindsey is a great chef. Food was excellent. Dinners were first class, breakfast and lunch were outstanding. She did a great job at serving foods my whole family loved.
Our itinerary had 4-5 stops and we made 8-9. The beaches and adventures make my wife and I seriously consider changing careers to be closer to this lifestyle
John at Sailing Directions returned emails quickly which made decisions we needed to make much easier to process and decide. We even had a possible snag with the trip and John made the possibility of re-routing the trip easy. I'd highly recommend the service and attention he offered. Highly considering another charter and when the time is right again, I'll begin my vacation research the same way I did before, the only difference is I'll look at Sailing Directions first and only. It worked great.
Magnus and Lindsey are a GREAT team and I'd recommend anyone considering to sail with them with a million percent YES!! Both of my boys highly enjoyed their time with our crew.

I have literally made life-long friends. Jose and Janet were extremely friendly and fit in very well with our group. We loved spending time with them. Both were very attentive and seemed to know exactly what we needed at any particular time. I very much enjoyed staying up late and talking with Cap'n Jose about various topics. Everything we wanted was provided. Jose and Pixie offered us very good suggestions as we made our way around the islands.
Hypnautic was very well maintained. It was amazing to me how clean Jose and Pixie were able to keep the yacht with the six of us constantly moving about, snacking, drinking, lounging, etc. I was very impressed by this. I think my favorite aspect was our mealtime and all of us sitting around the outside table. Lots of great conversation. I also very much enjoyed being up on the bridge with Cap'n. I loved the wind in the face and the amazing views.
Pixie is an amazing chef. I could tell that heart and soul was put into each dish. I enjoyed talking to Pixie about how she came up with some of the dishes and how she likes to take time to think of and practice making new dishes. I can't wait for more Pixie meals!
The Virgin Islands couldn't have been better. It was exactly what we wanted. The only thing I wish I had different was MORE TIME!
This trip was well worth every single penny. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves to disconnect from the real world and just relax and be stress free for a week. Great re-charge of the internal batteries that are required to operate in life.

Jose and Janet were definitely friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and accommodating. They went above and beyond my expectations. They were always asking if we needed anything, and were happy to respond to any questions or requests that we had. I couldn't imagine a better pair, and I look forward to sailing with them again!
The Hypnatuic was clean, comfortable, and well ventilated. Jose and Janet were up and about cleaning the boat every day. My favorite aspect of the yacht was definitely the dining area, where we spent time at least three times a day haha. Many wonderful conversations were had, and we loved getting a chance to watch Janet cook through the window! I also loved the bedding, super comfy, and plenty of storage space.
The food was no words short of AMAZING. Janet was such a great cook and always ran on time. The dining area was always clean, accessible, and well presented. Janet did a great job of creating a menu of items that suited our needs and fit our requests. There was always enough! And a great variety :)
We saw so much in what seemed like such little time, it was great! We hit all of the spots on our list within reason without feeling rushed. Every day was new and exciting, just as we requested.
This was a life changing experience. To stay a week on a boat may seem intimidating to some, especially myself who had never slept aboard a boat before. It was completely worth it, I can't imagine seeing the islands in any other way. Definitely pack your Dramamine if you experience a little sea sickness like I do! But it was completely manageable and did not take away from the experience.
Our group will certainly be requesting to sail with Hypnautic again.

The crew were outstanding, over and beyond the call of duty to make sure all our desires were met.
Hypnautic is very clean, not only when we arrived but they were cleaning daily to keep everything attractive.
The trip was fabulous. Leo and Amy are great hosts. Everything was perfect.
