Sailing Yacht Tilly Mint

Tilly Mint is a semi-custom, handcrafted 67ft sailboat built in England by Discovery Yachts - a boatyard renowned for innovative, award winning sailboats. She is the largest model offered by Discovery and is designed by the most prominent naval architect of this century, Ron Holland.

Since being launched in 2009, Tilly Mint has been kept in immaculate condition with numberous upgrades. The yacht is available for charter in the Caribbean with her super crew of two.

Tilly Mint had no expense spared when it came to designing the interior living spaces. Guests will be pleased to find every creature comfort they would expect to find in their own home. Amenities include full sized beds, private sitting couches in the cabins, plenty of hot water for sinks and showers, conveniently placed power outlets, central air conditioning and heating with personal controls in every cabin.

Perhaps Tilly Mint's most distinguishable feature, her deck level saloon has set the standard in the yachting industry. With this design, guests can dine, lounge, or make use of the entertainment systems from inside the yacht - all while enjoying panoramic views of the outside scenery from the same level as the deck. The large and encompassing saloon windows can be opened or closed as desired, to take full advantage of the natural light and sea breeze from outside.

The interior finish is complemented by craftsmanship of the highest quality, and combines modern design with traditional nautical themes. This makes for beautiful, spacious, and comfortable sleeping quarters and common areas.

Tilly Mint is well suited for chartering, with her generous hull volume allowing for incredibly spacious cabins. Inside, as many as 7 guests may be accommodated in 3 separate cabins - all of them with their own bathrooms. Forward you will find a VIP suite with queen sized berth, a guest suite with a double-berth, and 2 separate heads. In the aft section, a full beam-width master suite is provided along with a king-sized berth, and a private head and shower room.

Each cabin offers ample space for clothes and luggage via drawer, locker, and wardrobe stowage. Each berth is fitted with a high quality breathable mattress, along with fine custom bedding.

Tilly Mint has large, modern, user-friendly hatches in each cabin. These provide an ample amount of natural light and airflow as desired or complete shade and privacy with their built in courtesy shades. Small, quiet, electric fans are also installed for your comfort and convenience.

Guests who step aboard Tilly Mint will find incredibly spacious decks, along with a beautifully designed guest cockpit that offers comfortable cushioned seating arrangements, and luxurious al fresco dining for as many as 8.

All side-decks, the forward coach roof, the cockpit soles and seating areas, the helmsman's seats, and the transom steps are laid in the finest teak. This results in a traditionally beautiful deck with natural non-skid properties that will allow safe movement about the decks while underway, even when wet.

"Wake watching" seats are found both forward and aft on Tilly Mint. These comfortable seats are laid in teak, and are located on the stainless steel guardrails overhanging the decks on the bow and stern. They offer fantastic views of the water and its creatures. These seats have facilitated many hours of dolphin watching around the islands.

Always keeping safety in mind, Discovery has fitted Tilly Mint's decks with completely encompassing lifelines, and well-placed stainless handrails running along the roof of the deck saloon. The outward placement of the stanchions and lifelines means that Tilly Mint's decks remain flush and uncluttered. This compliments the minimalist aesthetic appeal of the yacht, while allowing safe and secure movement around the decks while underway.

A cleverly designed spray hood offers protection from the breeze to guests in the cockpit and al fresco dining area. When not in use, the spray-hood folds neatly away behind a molded combing on the coach roof to offer unhindered views of the foredeck and the surrounding scenery. A collapsible bimini top is also installed to provide full-coverage shade throughout the cockpit and helm stations.

The twin wheel set-up found on Tilly Mint provides a safe and convenient walk through from the cockpit to the aft deck and transom area. It also provides a great opportunity for guests to take the helm along side the captain, and see what it is like to drive a super-yacht.

The transom, or stern boarding section, offers easy and comfortable boarding via 4 teak laid steps. A large stainless steel swim ladder is provided to facilitate safe, easy boarding from the water after a swim.
