Mark DuBois was born in Durban, South Africa and began sailing and racing in 1961, first on dinghies then on larger keel boats. Before long he was racing at club level for Royal Durban Yacht Club and Point Yacht Club. He has sailed the waters of Mozambique, Mauritius, Madagascar and other Indian Ocean islands as well as South America.
Mark is enjoys SCUBA diving, snorkeling, sailing, fishing, hiking and reading. He is an outstanding sailor who loves to share his knowledge of the sea and the islands with his guests.
