Captain Bryan Lane hails from New England and has more than 25 years experience in big boat cruising, racing and ownership. Having studied French, he takes special joy in visiting the French islands each summer. In addition to a deep love of sailing, he enjoys both snorkeling and scuba diving, hiking and exploring the islands and cultures of the Caribbean, and of course, sampling his wife Judy?s cuisine.
Co-captain/Chef Judy Knape began sailing in Michigan as a child growing up on a lake. After living in the Virgin Islands for over 20 years, she has an intimate knowledge of the best anchorages, snorkel spots, hiking trails and romantic hideaways throughout the islands, which she delights in sharing with her guests. Judy?s culinary talents include preparing gourmet and heart-healthy meals with a tropical flair as well as an occasional sinfully delicious dessert. She served for five years as Executive Director of the Virgin Islands Charteryacht League, so knows chartering inside and out.
Bryan and Judy both hold Coast Guard Masters licenses and are PADI-certified divers. After two years of chartering together, they were married in 2001.
